What Are Screening Buckets?
Screening buckets are excavator attachments that sort material on site. A rotating drum with a mesh or screen separates fine material from oversize pieces, so soil, gravel, rock and debris can be sorted without a separate screening plant.
How Do Screening Buckets Work?
The excavator loads material into the hopper, and the drum turns while the screen lets smaller particles fall through. Oversize pieces stay in the drum and are discharged separately. The Rock.Zone Rockscreener has an XXL hopper and drum volume, so large quantities are handled in a single pass, and its design helps reduce clogging.
